New MacBook Pro with Thunderbolt
Apple announced today a new line of MacBook Pros (with quad-core processors for the 15 and 17-inch models) and is the first manufacturer to use the “fresh out-of-the-oven” Thunderbolt I/O technology. Note that this is the copper version of Thunderbolt, not the optical one. Still, 10 Gb/s speed is sweet. It’s worth checking Apple’s page on Thunderbolt.
