Rovio released the first gameplay video of Angry Birds Star Wars. Birds using lightsabers and the force? It seems to change the gameplay principle of the original version a bit. We’ll see how well it fares when it is released on November 8.

iOS 6 Maps has revealed quite a bit of teething troubles. Apple says the system will improve with use and time. Well, there’s a way to help speed up the process. How? Good ol’ human input can surely play a big part in the solution. MacRumors.com shows what to do when an iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch user encounters […]
Ellis Hamburger at The Verge has put up a nice round-up of keyboards for the iPad. Check the video below for insightful tidbits and quick reviews of the keyboards. I like the proposition of the Incase Origami Workstation — a great case and stand tailored for the Apple wireless keyboard. It is a great example of how a third-party accessory maker […]
Pocket is quite a departure from ‘Read it later’*. New visual identity, new website, new interface design, a promo video — it is more of a scrath-the-past-and-start-over kind of a thing. New iPad with retina display (2048 by 1536 pixels) with better colors, A5X (dual-core) processor with quad-core graphics, 5 megapixels iSight camera, 1080p recording, voice dictation (just a taste, not the full Siri experience), 10-hour battery life (same as the iPad 2) and… 4G LTE models (at the same price of previous models) → iPad 2 still on […]
Since the Apple invitation for today’s media event reached the public eye, the last written bit has always struck me as odd. I’m not in favour of reading too much into these invitations, but they have carried hints (in previous events) about what subject is going to be approached on stage. «And touch.» it says. […]
A nice animated short featuring Om Nom from ZeptoLab’s ‘Cut The Rope’. The game is one of those quality titles that best embodies the spirit of touch interfaces on mobile devices. ‘Cut The Rope’ games are original addictive puzzles with great quality art direction and animation.
