Apple Design Awards 2010

The Apple Design Awards 2010 list has been pub­lished. This year only iOS (formerly known as iPhone OS) apps were con­sidered for the awards. And the win­ners are:

* iPad Applications

  • Financial Times iPad Edition
  • Flight Control HD
  • Pinball HD
  • Star Walk — Interactive Astronomy Guide
  • TabToolkit

* iPhone Applications

  • 20 Minute Meals — Jamie Oliver
  • Articles
  • Brushes
  • Doodle Jump
  • Real Racing

Mac OS X apps weren’t eli­gible for this year’s design com­petion which is too bad as there are great examples of app devel­op­ment for the Mac. However, Ars Technica ran their own ver­sion of Design Awards for Mac OS X soft­ware (Transmit 4 and 1Password are two great examples of fine software).
